The sea inspired us. The Mar Grande was so beautiful when we met it, looking out for the first time from the hotel terrace, that it inspired what we would have become.
We have been inspired by nature because it was the only way to offer all our guests an alternative philosophy of stay, respectful of the place where it was born and the environment that hosts it.
Taranto, a melting pot of stories and identities, guided us in rethinking each space not only in a functional but also dynamic and community perspective. The hall that opens onto the sea is a square in which to meet, a crossroads of experiences between those who live in the city and those who discover it for the first time. Orama welcomes everyone at any time, it changes face as well as the light does: from breakfast to dinner, through the aperitif and coffee overlooking the sea. In his co-working space, ideas take shape... and new friendships too.
We tried to translate the horizon that wave after wave moves forward and meets the Mediterranean. The shapes are soft and the aesthetics pure, but nature is lush and overbearing. An oasis in the city where the sea imposes itself at every glance and the plants flourish in the common areas.
We have chosen to embrace the idea of a tourism that takes care of the environment and the community. For us sustainability is not a trend but the soul of our concept. It is the principle that guided us in choosing the amenities in the rooms, the partners with whom we collaborate on a daily basis, the seasonality of the products on our menus, the initiatives we create and propose to our guests and the city. We want to support small local businesses, use sustainable and recycled materials, optimize consumptions, promote a zero-waste philosophy, commit ourselves to restoring the beauty that Taranto gives us every day.
