The definitive one is based on an unprecedented idea: two facades, the first, called La Vela,; the second dedicated to air, with 80 open windows.
Just 20 km from Taranto, the town of Grottaglie is famous throughout the world for its historic and renowned artisan tradition of ceramic manufacturing. Even today the master craftsmen, with a long family tradition behind them, produce their artefacts following the traditional method in the workshops of the "Ceramics Quarter".
Torre Colimena is a true naturalistic paradise about 50 km from the city. Its beach, a stretch of flat but shaggy cliffs and a stretch of light sand and crystal-clear sea, is located on the Ionian coast of Salento and extends along the coast road that connects San Pietro in Bevagna to Punta Prosciutto.
